History of Blessed Pius Academy Okaria
Blessed Pius Academy, Okaria, was founded on 4th September 2017. The school is situated at Okaria Nkaleke, Echi-aba Development Centre, Ebonyi Local Government Area, along Ogbaga Road, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. Since its establishment, the institution has stood as a beacon of academic excellence, discipline, and moral upbringing, with the vision of raising future leaders through sound education.

1. Membership of NAPPS (15th September 2017): Shortly after its establishment, Blessed Pius Academy became a registered member of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Ebonyi Chapter.
2. School Site Approval (4th December 2017): The school received official site approval from the Ministry of Education, Abakaliki.
3. CAC Business Name Registration (14th December 2018): Blessed Pius Academy was officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
4. Certificate of Establishment (8th January 2021): The institution was granted her official certificate of establishment.
5. Approval for BECE (2nd March 2021): Blessed Pius Academy was approved as a recognized centre for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
6. Governor’s Visit & Multipurpose Hall Commissioning (13th July 2024): The Academy hosted a historic event with the Governor of Ebonyi State during the school’s annual graduation ceremony.
7. WAEC Accreditation (16th December 2024): The institution secured full accreditation as a WAEC Senior Secondary Examination Centre.
8. NECO Accreditation (20th March 2025): Blessed Pius Academy was further recognized by the National Examination Council (NECO).
9. Academic Excellence (2025): The Academy continues to produce outstanding results in both WAEC and NECO, with over 90% of candidates achieving distinctions and credits.
